Sinulog 2012 Fluvial parade. The day before Sinulog’s grand parade, there’s a tradition where the image of the Child Jesus visits the home of his parents before the big day. He leaves his home in the Basilica del Sto. Niño and is paraded to the St. Joseph parish in Mandaue city. After an overnight stay, the image voyages to an image of Mary in a neighboring island near Lapulapu.
